Recently we heard a story about change, recited by T. D. Jakes. In it he said, “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you always got.” Do you agree that these words speak loud and clear? If so, you are ready to see change in your future!! There are many “giants” in our lives that keep us incarcerated in the prisons of mental and emotional bondage.

Just as God encouraged the children of Israel to move forward in spite of seemingly overwhelming obstacles, we too can overcome any “giants” in our way. (Stop here and read Deut. 9:1-3!!) God promises to go before them and work, to allow them free passage. God is truly the source of our strength in overcoming and obliterating any and all intimidation and threat.

Our foes may not be physical but giants nonetheless. Today they exist as fear, discouragement, loneliness, worry, guilt, temptation, doubt, resentment, failure and jealousy. We then, are faced with the challenge of successfully refuting these bothersome “giants” that seek to rob us of the riches available to each of us. Fear need not defeat any of us, even though it is a strong tactic of the enemy. We have the power and the resources in our grasp, if we will choose them. Utilize the sword of the spirit to conquer
strongholds!! Speak the Word of God into your situation!!

II Corinthians 10:3,4 AMP
3 For though we walk in the flesh [as mortal men], we are not carrying on our [spiritual] warfare according to the flesh and using the weapons of man. 4 The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.

Hebrews 4:12KJV
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Here are some great verses to get started with TODAY!! Deut. 31:6, Psalm 27:1, Psalm 118:6, Proverbs
3:25,26 and Proverbs 29:25.

In closing, let me say that God has not given us the spirit of fear and that He only desires good for us.

II Timothy 1:7 KJV
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Be bold, be strong, and be courageous with fearlessness to utilize the “sword of the spirit.” That powerful spirit combined with the power of the Word, will bring us the evidence of victory so that we can, truly be, “MOVING ON.”
