God, who is the source of all good things, formed, made, and created the first man, Adam, in a state of perfection and He has always desired a sweet and intimate relationship with man. Yet this man, along with his companion, Eve, rebelled against God. The perfection that God had originally instilled in His man was now corrupted. Consequently, sin, sickness, and disease entered the world plaguing every aspect of the formerly perfect man that God had made.
Though man was now different, God had not changed, not even a little bit. His desire for man remained the same – to be blessed and to prosper in every category of life.
God’s plan for man involved not only salvation from sin, a state in which every man born of Adam would inherit, but freedom from the effects of sin which manifested within man’s body via sickness and disease.
God so loved the world that He gave His son, Jesus Christ, to pay the price for Adam’s sin. Jesus Christ purchased not only salvation from sin but freedom from ALL sickness and disease of ANY kind for EVERY man. God paid this incredible price because He so loved man and desired that man live a life free from shackles of any kind.
When Jesus Christ walked the earth, he demonstrated for all to behold the true character of God as a loving Father.
“...all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them”
This demonstration of God’s love is still available today and any man or woman can have the physical wholeness that Jesus Christ purchased—a free gift provided from the heart of a loving God.
