You and I are here because of seed. The smallest cell in the human body is our seed (sperm) and it impregnates the largest cell in the human body the egg. Amazing isn’t that these two cells together produce a self-willed human being with all its complexities, systems, intellect and uniqueness.
Another amazing seed is the one God promised after the fall of man as prophesied in Genesis 3:15:
Genesis 3:15:
“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”
“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”
This was the prophecy of the coming Christ. God would put His seed in the woman which would give birth to Jesus Christ. He would be the perfect sacrifice for all mankind.
1 Peter 1:18-21:
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
The result of believing this truth would bring us the new birth with incorruptible seed.
1 Peter 1:23:
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
Now that is the most amazing seed reality ever conceived!
