Ephesians 4:32-5:2 establishes a standard for forgiveness. We forgive one another as God in Christ has forgiven us and we walk in love. One other person we need to forgive is ourselves. Our Heavenly Father has forgiven us and remembers our sins no more. Refuse to remember something God has chosen to forget, Stop punishing yourself for something that was done in your past. We need to be at peace with our past, content with our present and sure of our future. God's love is always there. He thinks about us all the time, every nanosecond He is thinking about us. We need to turn our thoughts towards Him every nanosecond as well. Speaking in tongues gives us that ability..
Forgive yourself and let the healing begin. Keep your thoughts on your Heavenly Father and who you are in Christ Jesus and you will enjoy the peace that passes all understanding. Keep looking up, He's coming back!
