Moses' mother, Jochebed, although rarely spoken of in the Bible, was a tremendous woman of faith. She faced hard choices when putting her 3 month old son in a basket in the river. Her wisdom, care and protection for Moses truly revealed itself some many years later as he became the one God choose to work with as one of the greatest prophets who ever lived.
She was also the mother to Aaron and Miriam, These three played wonderful roles in our spiritual heritage and their mother was instrumental in that process.
