Can You Cook?

Have you ever tried to put something together without looking at the directions?  Julia Childs once said, “If you can read, you can cook.”

Have you ever gone somewhere and got lost?

Why oh why do we do this?  Generally, there are written instructions in whatever item we are trying to assemble, and certainly by now we can access a good recipe, Google maps or some other source to give us precise directions when we are cooking or driving somewhere. (“I don’t need no darn directions!”)

Well, directions are instructions for doing something or for reaching a place, and the Bible is full of intructions.
