Guarding the heart is one of the greatest responsibilities a Christian has. The Bible teaches that what is in the heart eventually comes out in our lives. If the heart is right before God, then our lives will begin to follow. But if the heart is neglected, corrupted, bitter, worldly, or cold toward God, everything else begins to suffer. Always be on guard!
