The Evidence of the Spirit: A Way of Life

The evidence of the spirit is given in 9 different ways but they are all energized by the same Spirit (God). He needs us to be willing to go into a profiting situation and say "yes!" I will do whatever you say to do. Jesus was the greatest example of how to do this in records of how he healed the woman with the spirit of infirmity, the man with the palsy and the deaf and dumb man (and of course many others).

Faith: a surge of confidence that rises in a person in a particular situation or challenge and gives an extraordinary certainty that God is about to act.

Gifts of healings: presents of grace

Workings of miracles: effects of mighty works of power (dunamis)

Prophecy: bubbling up of inspired words or actions

Discerning of spirits: confronting and dealing with the presence of evil spirits
