I can remember listening to the radio late at night sometimes and working with and adjusting the dial to gain the strongest possible signal. Some signals were stronger than others, but the closer the station was, the easier it was to tune in to. For me, it was Chicago and radio station WLS. Maybe you have had a similar experience?  Even at that age whether I was aware of it or not, I was adjusting the frequency of the radio so that I could hear the music clearly.

In a similar way, life is a frequency. “Tuning in” to life may require adjustments in how we live, but more importantly it is the realization that the frequency of CERTAIN things, say like peace, joy, provision, and health, is even available.

Just as we all have a favorite radio station, we also have a favorite frequency that we pay attention to. Isn’t it great to know that God’s frequency of life is always available?

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. (Rom. 8:5)

If we can “remember to choose” to tune in to life, the corresponding quality of the life we live will be rewarding, rich and fulfilling.
