For God to be in control of this world He would have to be responsible for the good as well as the evil going on. We know God cannot be tempted nor tempts He any man. Because of freedom of will, Adam disobeyed God and handed over his dominion over the earth to the devil.
Whoever is born of God overcomes the world through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Our Heavenly Father continues to work with us in this spiritual battle as we love Him. Pray and speak "It is written" to our adversary.
When we call on our Abba Father, He will provide help in time of need, Our call to action is I John 5:21 NLT, "Dear Children, keep away from anything that might take God's place in your hearts."
