Seek His Face

Prayer is the gentle road to God’s heart. It is the humble expression of the heart’s cry that we are not big enough, strong enough or smart enough to figure everything out on our own and that we need help. More importantly than the help sought, is the opportunity to see more of God’s ways and to seek a greater understanding of the God to whom we pray. My prayer's for others are fruitless unless they are born from a heart of love for God and desire to see His manifested power and grace in the answers.

This sharing looks a bit deeper into this topic of the prayer of the heart, and even though Psalm 119 is not usually presented as a record of prayer, in it are included so many great examples that wonderfully express the cry of the heart.
