What is a friend? One who has your back through thick and thin, good times and not so good and who brings comfort and aid and support. The Greek word parakletos is used in many places meaning to summons to one's side or to bring aid and assistance.
We don't often think of it this way but the "holy spirit" is referred to as the comforter, AND IT LIVES IN US!!
What a wonderful resource we have that IS ALWAYS WITH US!!
