A Shepherd's Heart

While God is the Great Shepherd and Christ the Good Shepherd, they never intended to be the only shepherds. We can be and are all shepherds and we can certainly have a shepherd’s heart for one another. We should have a heart to nurture and encourage others, to show concern for one another and to show great compassion. This is how we can be “imitators of God.”
