The Lord Our Banner

According to Exodus 17:13–16 in the Bible, Jehovah-nissi is the name given by Moses to the altar which he built to celebrate the defeat of the Amalekites at Rephidim. It was indicative of the victory the Lord gives.

Champions always enjoy carrying the flag or banner of their native country as they take a victory lap. Armies marched into battle with banners or flags that identified them and also they were also used to indicate certain battle strategies. As believers in Jesus Christ, we have the victory, and that is the place from where we start. Let's claim what is rightfully ours!!
