Gone Fishing

Fishing requires patience and preparation.  No fisherman would go fishing without the proper equipment.  Rods, reels, fishing line and bait are just a few.  There is a great analogy here.  Jesus spoke to fisherman when he was looking to make disciples and he told these individuals, professional fisherman, that he would teach them how to become fishers of men.

Whether we recognize it or not, we are all fishermen, speaking the words of life unconditionally to catch the hearts and souls of the individuals that God has called, and help them to connect with God, and enter into eternal life realities.
