Come On In

A lot of times to have access to something we need a key.  House keys, car keys, maybe a hotel room? Or maybe like me, you needed a license key to get access to an internet program and its resources.What a key does is it gives a person entree, the entry and the ability to do something they couldn’t do without it.  You lose your keys you are in a pickle for sure!!

This last week there was a unique day that happened in the Hebrew calendar. On Sunday evening (Sept 24, 2023) at sunset through Monday evening at sunset there was the most holy day in Hebrew culture.  It was called Yom Kippur or as we know it The Day of Atonement. (AT-ONE-MENT) This was the one day historically that the high priest entered into the holy of holies to make sacrificial offerings for the sins of Israel for that year.  It was a figurative way of pointing to Jesus who would finish the work by being the ultimate sacrifice, acquiring full and complete redemption for mankind.  He set us free and gave us rights and privileges we can now enjoy. To be in the Father’s presence without restrictions!
