Anthony Sakwa in 2016 started a church with 25 believers in Bungoma County of the country of Kenya, Africa.
By 2017 a relationship with Acts Now Fellowship began. The connection began with a hunger to know more about the manifestations of holy spirit. Anthony contacted Bob Lindfelt inquiring about speaking in tongues. Bob shared his book on speaking in tongues and the website on the subject (www.speakingintongues-holyspirit.com spirit).
Anthony shares about the beginning of a relationship that has flourished to the glory of God: “Many years ago in our church people had neglected this special gift of manifestation of the holy spirit through speaking in tongues. When I got introduced to my wonderful servant of God Reverend Bob Lindfelt, he gave me a beautiful and wonderful book that taught about the importance and benefits of speaking in tongues. After reading it and understanding it fully I got ignited in the spirit. I was given the permission to translate the book into Swahili.”
Anthony continues to share about the outreach and growth of his church: “Ever since I got ignited through speaking in tongues, my church believers have been filled by the power of the holy spirit through speaking in tongues. I have travelled to Refuge Camps both in Kenya and Tanzania and taught believers about importance and benefits of speaking in tongues.” He has led hundreds into speaking in tongues and shared his church is on fire experiencing the gift of holy spirit in manifestation.
Anthony shares, “Acts Now Fellowship Ministry has partnered with us by helping us financially and prayerfully standing with in construction of our new modern permanent church structure that carries about 200 people.”
They are constantly busy hosting youth rallies, women advances, men’s seminars and leadership conferences with many hundreds in attendance. His church appreciates how Acts Now Fellowship has helped in building a church facility, housing, providing transportation vehicles and supporting resources to conduct various seminars.
Currently their population has grown to well over 100 believers. Their vision is reaching out to people through preaching, teaching and leading people to the new birth, manifesting the gift of holy spirit.
