Our Heavenly Father needs each one of us to run our own race. God uses the analogy of the believer running to the finish line like in the Olympics. I like the term to "run" our race because by running you can cover more territory quicker and have a lighter load.  We are guaranteed the victory.

When we walk with Him, He can accomplish His will through us.

To run this race, we need to do away with “everything that hinders us”, sin and whatever else threatens our relationship with the Father. Anything that will slow us down. We get rid of thoughts, attitudes, and habits that discourage our progress in the race. Let us run with endurance, patience, victory in mind, never allowing ourselves to give up because we are never alone. Looking unto Jesus, the Perfecter of the race!
