In the world there are many man-made monuments and structures that have stood for hundreds or thousands of years. As sons of God, we are exhorted to stand on the Word in the situations of life. This study looks at some of the occurrences of the word that is translated "to stand" in their unique contexts. The body of Christ is stronger than any ancient monument because we have as our foundation the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, we can confidently stand on God's Word until the Lord's return.
