Praise is one of our weapons to defeat the enemy's attacks. Jehoshaphat's attack from the combined armies of the Ammonites, Edomites and Moabites was set in ambush when the singers were put out front to praise God. Jehoshaphat's prayer in front of all the people was powerful to show his acknowledgement of who God is, His promises and that "our eyes are on you." God answers by the prophet and says that "the battle is not yours, but God's." And as the enemy fights and kills off each other, the people rejoice over God's goodness! We can do the same when we pray and praise with awe and humility in our hearts.
